Nalsoft Subtitle Player is a simple-to-use video viewer that loads and plays any SRT, SUB and TXT subtitle file associated to the video file being played. This application makes use of the Windows Media Player technology and supports any AVI, WMV, MPG and ASF files. You are given the choice to use different WMP rendering engines to play your subtitled videos, and you can watch them at full screen, if you wish.
Nalsoft Subtitle Player will open automatically any subtitle file which is located in the same folder as the video file as long as they have the same filename. If the names are different, or if you want to load a different subtitle text file, then you can open it yourself. It is important to note that when filenames do not match, subtitles may not be shown as desired, or even not shown at all.
You can set the frame rate according to which you want your subtitles to be played, either following the video frame rate or at a completely different pace. The same is true for delay–you can set a delay to show your subtitles either earlier or later than programmed in the subtitle file. The time delay is measured in milliseconds, allowing you to reach a high level of accuracy.
